TASKDESCRIPTION: For this activity i have chosen to use google drawing to present my task. i have had to think about my own experiences and my own cultural background. i had than had to think about where my family had came from and my cultural background.

ReplyDeleteThanks for telling us a bit about your cultural background and for including history of not only your parents but also your grandparents. It's so cool that you're Tongan and that you can speak Tongan fluently - being bilingual is pretty impressive! I found it hilarious when you said that your Mum holds up a jandal if you speak in English - she's just trying to make sure you stick to your culture, because it is really important. I wish that I was encouraged to speak Te Reo more growing up, but I buckled in to the English language and now I find it hard to break away from that as an adult.
