DAY 2 Activity 2: Fabulous Ferns [4 points]

Activity 2: Fabulous Ferns [4 points]

One of the most common plants found in New Zealand forests is the fern. It is a special, iconic symbol of New Zealand. You will find pictures of ferns on the jerseys of many famous sporting teams in New Zealand, including the New Zealand All Blacks.
Did you know that many of these teams also have the word ‘fern’ in their name? Use your best researching skills to find three New Zealand sporting teams who use the word ‘fern’ in their title.
On your blog list three sports teams that have the word ‘fern’ in their title. Beside each team’s name, post a picture of their uniform. Then, at the bottom of your blog post tell us which of the three uniforms you like best and why.

HERE ARE SOME COOL FACTS ABOUT THE TEAMS
SCROLL UP IF U WANNA SEE WHICH UNIFORM I PICKED.

  1. Kia ora & Namaste Hilary,
You did a wonderful job in here, I can see that you provide your reader with good and valid information that is relevant to the task. Ka Mau te Wehi!
I agree with you as I also like the Silver Ferns uniform because it is a bit more feminine and, as you already mentioned, the fern in front of the skirt that gradually changes colour adds such an original touch.
In future try to make your poster a bit bigger as I found a bit hard to read the text in it, perhaps a google slide with the pictures would work better as it can be switch to full screen.
Keep up with the great work!
    Kia kaha,
    Patricia
