TASK DESCRIPTION:For the first Task (activity1) , i have had to watch these videos about Serena and Venus Williams. i then had to write down three things that i had learned from watching these videos, as well as one thing i would still like to know.
For the second task, i had to imagine that i was allowed to change my name to anything that i wanted. i then had to write down what i would change my name to and why i would choose that name.

i apologise for such a delay of posting.

  1. Kia ora Hilary,

It's nice to see you posting again! The Manaiakalani team missed seeing your activities :)

I would like to know the answer to that question too. What do you think is the reason why men and women getting paid in sports? I'd like to know your thoughts on this subject.

It's interesting imagining a different name right?! I think both Hilary and Malama are great names.

When I think about changing my name I can't think of anything... mainly because I can't imagine getting used to a whole NEW name. Imagine someone calling out your name and you don't realise they are talking to you.

Do you think people should be able to change their name if they want to at any time? Or do you think we should keep our given names! Tough question, but curious to know what you think! :)

    Nga mihi
